There's a verse from the Bible that's worth mentioning
when it comes to thinking about your health.
The verse says that we are “ fearfully and wonderfully
made” (Psalm 139:14).
I really like that verse because it reminds us how
amazing our bodies are.
In fact, when you think about how intricately we're
put together, it's astonishing that we function as well
as we
do!
One way to think about our design as humans is to
think in terms of the different systems of the body.
Health experts are accustomed to breaking the body
down into various systems.
I've seen some break down the body into eight systems...
some nine... and others describe our bodies according
to twelve different systems.
These include...
- Integumentary system (skin)
- Skeletal system
(bones)
- Muscular system (movement)
- Immune system (fighting disease)
- Lymphatic system (moving fluids)
- Cardiovascular system (transporting nutrients and wastes)
- Urinary system (regulating pH, removing wastes)
- Digestive system (processing nutrients)
- Respiratory system (exchange of gases, like oxygen)
- Nervous system (sensation and control)
- Endocrine system
(hormones and metabolism)
- Reproductive system (sex organs and procreation)
Now... as you run through this list, you can see
we really are “wonderfully made.”
And, for the most part, our bodies work well... most
of the time.
But to function at your best, a little help is needed
to keep all systems in good working order.
… And this is where essential oils come into play.
Essential oils are uniquely designed to
help the
body function at its best... so you can feel the best,
and get the most out of life.
Their small molecular structure, high frequency,
and anti-oxidant properties make them ideal for
supporting the various systems of the body.
And... with a little help and experience, it doesn't
take long for you discover which oils are best suited
to support which specific systems of the body.
And this
process is made even faster and easier through
all the help that's shared through our Family Essential Oils
community.
For your best health,
