Gardenizing the World with the Father

When Adam sinned in the garden, it wasn't really about the forbidden fruit.

It was that he wanted to be like God and rule his turf apart from Him.

The same is true for you and me...

When we sin, it's really not about whatever tempts us.

It's about our desire to be our own god over our own little kingdom.

And the outcome is just like that of the first man...

Life is made troublesome with its thorns and thistles and alienation from God.

But Jesus came to restore and make things new.

And He came into our lives so we would gardenize our part of the world...

And do it with the Father... not on our own.
