"Think less, do more"

The other day someone asked me to tell them one of my goals for the new year.

The first thing that came to mind was:

“Think less and do more.”

Thinking is good. And necessary.

But overthinking sure can keep me from executing the things I know God wants me doing.

And I assume I’m not alone.

It’s easy for the smallest worries and ‘what ifs’ to stop anyone from doing what they ought.

And that’s not a good thing.

To fulfill God’s call on our lives, we have to get out of our heads.

We have to take action and do something.

Thinking and coming up with ideas aren’t enough.

We have to use our gifts to make something or serve somebody.

And maybe even get our hands dirty.
