I see in the news that singer and actor David Cassidy
died.
Cassidy is best known for his role as the teen heartthrob on 'The Partridge Family.'
But for me his most meaningful contribution might be his last words... which according to his daughter were:
"So much wasted time."
What a sobering -- but crucial --
reminder...
We have only so much time to do what God has gifted us and called us to do...
And it's time we sure don't want to waste!
Today, you've got choices to make about how you're going to use your time.
Some of those choices might be difficult.
But they're choices we have to make -- day after day -- if we're to keep the stinging words of David Cassidy from applying to our own lives.
The book of Ecclesiastes puts it this way:
"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going"
(9:10).
Good words to keep in mind.
