Elijah's
encounter with the prophets of Baal wiped him out.
Not only did it exhaust him, it filled him with paranoia and self-pity, too.
Fortunately... some sleep, food and quietness before the Lord got him back on track.
There's a lot to be learned from Elijah's experience (1 Kings 18-19).
I know whenever I'm thinking the worst about my circumstances, it's usually when I've been pushing too hard... and in need of a break.
I suspect you're vulnerable to the same thing.
So if you've been hard at it... and feeling like you're all alone fighting the battle... while everyone else is enjoying their ideal life...
You might just need some sleep.
Or some good food.
Or time with the Lord.
It could be just the thing to recover your vision and get you back on track with your mission.
