Is this common distraction keeping you from your life's mission?

Published: Tue, 10/10/17

Note to self:

"Don't forget, just as Jesus's mission was not to judge but to save, so is yours."

How easy it is get distracted from our life's purpose and get caught up analyzing, evaluating, critiquing, judging and condemning others.

But that's not what God calls us to!

God calls us to use the gifts He's given us to move His plan of redemption forward in the places He has us.

Look...

Jesus made His own calling clear when He said:

"I did not come to judge the world but to save the world" (Jn.12:47).

As we fulfill our own role in this mission as His followers, the emphasis is to be the same--not on judging, but on saving.

To fail here--and spend our days with a critical, fault-finding eye--is to be distracted from what God really wants us doing...

... and it causes the many good works He has planned for us to go undone (Eph.2:10).
