Why your dominion efforts require prayer...

This may be obvious to you...

...but it bears repeating... lest we forget...

Fulfilling the dominion mandate is NOT a natural activity -- it's a spiritual one.

This has been true ever since God put Adam and Eve in the garden...

And it remains so today...

... for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but with spiritual forces in heavenly places (Eph.6:12).

So... 

We are not to pursue our callings in our own natural power... but the power of the Spirit.

Or as the Bible puts it...

'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD... (Zech.4:6).

This means all our dominion efforts ought to be immersed in prayer...

Because prayer connects us to the Spirit...

And the Spirit gives not only faith and hope... but the power to act and persevere against all forms of obstacles and opposition. 

So no matter where God has positioned you in His kingdom, don't neglect prayer...

As God uses prayer to transform you, He'll then use you to transform the world.
