The Practice of Plodding On

Published: Fri, 07/21/17

I see Pastor Douglas Wilson has started a new podcast.

I'm look forward to listening.

He's actually calling the series "The Plodcast" as a fun way to remind listeners that plodding is a proven way to get things done.

And that's a good thing to remember... no matter what God calls you to accomplish.

How often do we fail to start a good work because it just seems too big to tackle?

Or... how often do we fail to finish a worthy project when we hit a point of overwhelm?

The solution to both problems is to plod.

To keep chipping away.

Bit by bit. Day by day.

And...

This is more than just a good productivity tip.

It's biblical, too.

Because it's 'little by little' that God advances His kingdom (Ex.23:30).

So, has God given you a good work to do?

Keep plodding on.
