You may have heard the
story...
It happened at Panama City Beach in Florida.
A family of nine was caught up in a rip tide a hundred yards off shore in the Gulf of Mexico.
Fearing they were about to drown, they screamed for help.
One couple that heard them resolved to respond.
While the husband thought up a plan, the wife said, "That family is not going to die today."
And it didn't.
Because that husband and wife swam out to start a human chain that eventually numbered 80 people... and rescued the members of the trapped family one by one.
Now, this is more than just a feel good
story...
... it's the story of the Good Samaritan.
... it's about laying down one's life for others.
... and it shows how to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
All because one young couple saw what was going on
and did something.
Now you may never face something so dramatic.
But surely times will come when you can help someone by taking action.
And when those times come, don't just stand there!
Do something to help.
You might just
save a life.
