Even though the Apostle
Paul regarded himself as the worst of sinners...
... and even though he knew how wrong he was for participating in the murder of Christians...
... there is no sign of him wallowing in self-loathing over it.
That's because he knew the grace of
God had fully covered his transgressions...
...and that he was under no condemnation...
... and totally free to fulfill the mission God had for him.
The experience of Paul is a good reminder...
Yes, you may feel unworthy of being used by God...
... and you may have shame and regret over things in the past...
... but God's grace is greater than these things.
And He's given you His grace so you would not only be
forgiven, but have a heart set free to serve Him with your gifts.
So... for those who belong to God, there's no place for self-loathing...
... our time and energy is to be used serving Him in joy and gratitude.
