I sure missed you all over the last month. But Covid really knocked the stuffing out of me. The good news is I'm finally recovering some energy and I hope to be back to publishing on my normal weekday schedule.
On to today's message...
We are seeing more and more whistleblowers coming out... in all areas of society.
People are tired of standing by as wrongdoing takes place in the private, public and government organizations they're a part of... and they don't want to be complicit with it or see harm done to others... so they're blowing the whistle.
Good for them.
Whistleblowing is a biblical response to corruption.
The Apostle Paul made this clear when he wrote:
"Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them" (Eph.5:11).
Whistleblowers deserve our gratitude.
Bringing dirt to light is always done at great risk, requiring a ton of courage.
But whistleblowing is an essential part of cleaning house.
Especially now.
You see... America is suffering from something far worse than Covid.
It's suffering a near terminal case of Integrity Deficiency Syndrome.
And faithful whistleblowers are a key part of turning things around. In part because their brave actions inspire courage in others.
Blessed are the whistleblowers.
