There's a big, commonly overlooked reason the Bible reinforces the truth those who repent and believe are forgiven.
And it's not just because God wants us relieved of guilt and assured our relationship with Him has been restored...
It's because He wants you freed up to live out the purpose He has for you.
You see...
Those carrying guilt and shame tend to be passive and timid...
They're inclined to be compliant and easily enslaved too...
And this keeps them from advancing the mission God has for them.
So a verse like "There's no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"
(Rom.8:1) is about way more than your personal forgiveness.
It's about freeing your conscience so you would go do the good God has designed for you... without any self-condemnation hindering you.
