One of the remarkable things about the Apostle Paul is how much joy he had -- even while in prison.
In fact one of his 'prison epistles' -- Philippians -- is known as the Epistle of Joy.
So what's this about?
Here's a gifted and motivated guy with a mission to fulfill... shackled by Roman chains...
... but instead of gloom and pessimism, he's got a joy beyond natural.
There's no earthly explanation for it...
Because... a supernatural work of the Spirit was transforming his perspective...
... enabling him to see despite his situation, God's purpose was still being fulfilled in his life and the world.
Now you may never be in a literal prison yourself.
But you may feel imprisoned by the position you're in... with no way out.
Yet you too can have joy...
... as the Spirit helps you see God is still working in you and through you... right where you are today.
"Rejoice in the Lord always..." (Phil.4:4).
