Though Christians celebrate the rising of Jesus from the dead on Easter Sunday, we shouldn't forget the resurrection on Easter Monday.
The reality of the resurrection transforms everything -- about the past, future and even the present.
Thanks to the resurrection, believers can live today with total confidence any and all sins of their past are forgiven, since Jesus was raised for their justification (Rom.4:25).
Regarding the future, the resurrection assures us that all who believe in Jesus will be raised to new life...
They will live even if they die (Jn.11:25,26) as the perishable will put on the imperishable (1 Cor.15:42).
And if that weren't enough, the resurrection also brings its transforming power to the here and now...
Because those who already partake of Christ's resurrection by faith are able to walk in newness of life (Col.3:1; Rom.6:4)...
And are equipped to labor knowing since Jesus is the first fruits of new creation yet to be fully realized, our toil is not in vain... as we know the day is coming when all will be subjected to Him (1 Cor.15:24).
So though Easter is over, don't let the truth of the resurrection lose hold of your heart.
