One of the names the Apostle Paul gives the followers of Jesus is 'ambassador' (2 Cor.5:20).
This is really helpful when it comes to understanding your place in the world... and how you should engage it.
You see, an ambassador is a representative of another country or government.
So as an ambassador of Christ, you're called to represent Him and His kingdom.
Remembering this simplifies life. It makes it less complex.
Because whatever situation you're in, your job is straightforward. It's to be a good and faithful ambassador.
So you should always be asking yourself:
How can I best represent the One who has sent me here?'
And usually just raising the question brings clarity and solutions.
