One of the things I love about Proverbs is the vivid way it calls us to pursue wisdom.
Take Proverbs 26:11...
"Like a dog that returns to its vomit is a fool who repeats his folly."
I know, kind of disgusting imagery... but isn't it a clear warning about clinging to habits that keep us trapped in mediocrity?
We all face patterns of behavior which seek to derail us from the purpose God has for our lives.
And it's wisdom to recognize what these are, count the cost, and lay them aside so you can full the place He has for you in His kingdom.
