There's a quote from the great 19th century preacher Charles Spurgeon worth remembering today.
He said, “A lie will go halfway around the world while truth is still pulling its boots on.”
If that was true in Spurgeon's horse and buggy days, it's even more so in our Internet age.
In our big tech era, fake news and false narratives can stake their claim on reality before the day is out, and you can go to bed wondering if the truth has been suppressed forever.
Yet the truth is still out there. And in God's world it will eventually emerge like an oceanside sunrise.
So though the truth may be concealed, don't ever give up on it...
... God hasn't. In fact, He can't forget or deny the truth because He is truth...
... And it's only those abiding in truth who keep their sanity, know freedom and live the life God intends for them.
"For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations" (Ps.100:5)
