One of the ways God shows His mercy is by giving us extra time.
So as I vote today, I'll do so praying God will raise up elected officials who will rule in a way that serves to give us more time...
More time to humble ourselves... more time to pray... more time to seek God's face... and more time to turn from our wicked ways...
With the hope He will... hear from heaven... forgive our sin... and heal our land.
We could really use more time...
Because we live in a nation where suppressing the truth has become a way of life, the judgements of 2020 may be just the beginning of more severe chastisements to come.
Yet -- in His kindness, God may be pleased to give us more time.
And if He does, we'd be wise to make the most of it.
"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 Chron.7:14).
