Jesus said every kingdom, city or house divided against itself will not stand (Mt.12:25).
Being so, one of the gifts we can bring to our polarized world is the art of peacemaking.
Living as a peacemaker doesn't mean giving up your beliefs.
Nor does it mean you'll win everyone over.
But it does mean keeping your cool, speaking the truth in love, and seeking to build bridges rather than deepen divisions.
Jesus addressed this when he preached about those who inhabit His kingdom and said, "Blessed are the peacemakers" (Mt.5:9).
In a day when so many have taken their sides and hardened their positions, engaging others as a peacemaker is a worthy, dominion-oriented pursuit.
It's a way to demonstrate the Kingdom and lead others into it.
