COVID has hit jobs, the economy and how people work in big way.
This has brought unemployment, business closures, supply disruptions and financial hardship to many.
But there is a silver lining in it all as people have gained a greater appreciation for their work.
Too often work has been viewed as a necessary evil. Just a way to pay the bills.
Yet from the time God put Adam in the Garden of Eden and told him to cultivate and keep it, He planned for work to be a part of our lives... and an enriching part at that.
It's through work we get to regularly use our gifts, serve others and develop the world for God's glory -- which all help lead to a fulfilling existence.
So though the coronavirus and resulting lockdowns have hit our ability to labor hard, hopefully many will gain a renewed appreciation for the work God has given them to do.
And I hope too... no matter how COVID has affected your own work, the Spirit of God will give you all you need to stay enterprising, prosper and find joy in your labor.
