After the fall of mankind, God instituted a centuries long battle between the faithful and the unfaithful (Gen.3:15).
This battle lies behind the cultural conflict we see today.
Yet many of those God has called as warriors have gone AWOL... out of escapism, fear and love of pleasure.
We can only wonder what good would come if souls on the sidelines were to engage the battle... through obedience, prayer, love of neighbor, and standing for and speaking the truth.
“Oh, that My people would listen to Me,
That Israel would walk in My ways!
I would soon subdue their enemies,
And turn My hand against their adversaries."
(Psalm 81:13-14)
