I'm amazed how quickly believers, churches and Christian organizations tend to jump on the latest bandwagon.
I get how it happens...
We want to show empathy... and demonstrate love.
And sensitivity to our own guilt makes us easily shamed into an accepting frame of mind... and taking some kind of action.
But jumping onto bandwagons that are hitched to secularism -- with no place for the God of the Bible -- will never help anyone.
And doing so runs contrary to our God-given mission, too.
Jesus commissioned us to make disciples of all nations... teaching them to observe all that He commanded (Mt.28:18-20).
When you take this seriously, you'll discover His approach gets at the heart of any social issue in a way the latest relativistic, power seeking secular movement never will.
So be careful of jumping on bandwagons.
And take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor.10:5).
