One of the big stories of the last month has been the devotion of some health care workers as they tend to dying patients day after day with little rest.
What is it that enables someone to hold up in such a situation?
Love.
And this isn't just true for those working long difficult hours in health care.
It's the prime motive for any area of service God may call you to fulfill.
Love is the only force powerful enough to sustain you for a lifetime of laying down your life for others.
It's what delivers from fear... overcomes hopelessness... and equips to venture into an unknown future with faith.
And the only place to find that love -- no matter what what your calling may be -- is in God, who is love.
'We love because He first loved us" (1 Jn.4:19).
