I'm sure hearing a lot about people making protective face masks these days.
Some businesses have completely retooled to make them.
I know a couple of neighbors, as well as my niece, are making them.
And yesterday I learned one of my sons is creating some kind of a safety mask with a 3-D printer.
Whenever human beings take on these kinds of tasks, they're following the pattern their Creator set at the beginning of the world.
When God made the world during the first week of creation, He took hold of what He initially created and broke it down into things more specialized...
... making day and night, heaven and earth, seas and dry land... and birds, fish, animals, etc.
So when someone takes some fabric, cuts it into a certain size, and sews on an elastic band, they're simply living according to the design of the one whose image they bear.
And this is true whether we're talking about a believer or an unbeliever.
The only question is whether what you're doing is true, or good or beautiful in some way... like a face mask...
... and whether or not it's done to the glory of God.
You just can't get away from being made in His image.
And being made in His image is proof of God Himself.
