Usually my typos lie buried deep enough you probably miss them.
But when I mangle the very first sentence so badly -- like yesterday -- you might wonder what condition I was in when I wrote it!
Ugh.
I hate it when that happens...
... it puts all kinds of embarrassing, 'why am I doing this' kind of thoughts in my head.
But it does provide an occasion to remember...
God uses flawed people to accomplish His work.
And not just those who don't get their words right.
He uses morally flawed people too.
Think of all the Bible characters God used mightily... even though they stumbled... often in serious ways!
Abraham, Moses, Elijah, David, Peter, Paul and others all had shortcomings, failures, sins... and even crimes... on their records -- yet God worked through them to accomplish His purpose.
So don't ever think you're too damaged for God to use you.
As a pastor friend put it: God draws straight with crooked lines.
Forget what lies behind and press forward to what lies ahead (Phil. 3:13).
His power is perfected in our weakness (2 Cor.12:9).
