This applies to everyone...
God doles out our days one at a time.
So you can't handle what belongs to tomorrow -- or the next day -- today. You can only do what's in front of you now today.
And it's best that way too.
Too many unknowns and yet to appear blessings prevent us from knowing how to best do what's in the future anyway.
And from this truth comes the phrase, "Take it one day at a time."
The author Thomas Carlyle summed it up this way:
"Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand."
And Jesus said:
"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own" (Mt.6:44).
Clear enough?
We rule our domains best when we focus on what He's put before us today.
