I don't know about you, but I usually find myself a little disoriented the day after Thanksgiving.
There's something about waking up feeling full and not having a normal schedule that has me wondering...
... so what should I be doing today?
And that's one of the things I love about the dominion mandate in Genesis 1:28.
It has a way of reorienting you.
So whenever you're at a loss as to what you ought to be doing, you can ask yourself:
"Now how can I best rule and cultivate my little realm of responsibility today?"
That answer might lead you to haul out a box of Christmas decorations.
Or it might get you focused on your job -- rather than those Black Friday sales.
Whatever your case...
God's call to rule and cultivate your domain has a great way of orienting you as to the best way to use your time and energy today.
