Some friends who run businesses have told me about the difficulty they're having finding good employees -- especially among the younger generation.
Unfortunately, this isn't too surprising.
The spirit of entitlement that prevails these days has made it common for workers to expect maximum pay for minimal work.
And we've created a view of work where at best it's an inconvenience and at worst it's a necessary evil.
The only way to turn this around is to recover a biblical vision of work...
... where work is seen as part of God's original design for us... to co-rule and develop His creation with Him.
It might make time for such a view to transform workplaces... but at least you can put it into practice wherever God has you laboring.
"Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord" (Col.3:23).
