A lot of people think they have to be the best at something to make a worthwhile contribution.
But it's not so.
Consider the story of Scott Adams, the creator of the Dilbert comic strip.
Adams is quick to admit he's not the greatest writer, best artist, or funniest comedian, but by working these skills together he's been enriching the lives of others through Dilbert for over 30 years.
That's worth remembering... especially if you consider yourself average.
You don't have to be the best to have a positive impact on others.
You just need to harness your collection of gifts and put them to work for the enrichment of those around you.
And though you probably won't become nationally known -- like Adams -- you can find satisfaction knowing you're making a contribution in keeping with who God has made you to be.
"Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them..." (Rom.12:6).
