There's a fun story in Luke's gospel about an incident from Jesus's boyhood.
While returning from a visit to Jerusalem for the Passover, Jesus's parents discovered he was missing.
So they go back to Jerusalem looking all over for him.
Finally, after three days they found him in the temple leading a deep discussion with some of the teachers there.
Jesus's parents were -- as we would say today -- ticked off that he had them so anxious about his whereabouts.
But He replied to them... didn't you know 'I must be about my Father's business' (Lk.2:49)?
It's amazing that as a twelve year old Jesus clearly knew what his purpose was... and pursued it so intently.
It was all about doing the business of his Father's kingdom.
And for Jesus that meant ultimately giving His life for us... so we'd be restored to the Father and be about His business too.
