An overlooked reason for confidence

Yesterday was Father's Day.

You knew that, I know!

But did you know it was also Trinity Sunday... a day many Christians celebrate and honor the three persons of the triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

Because it's difficult to comprehend, believers often find the doctrine of the Trinity an abstraction we simply accept as part of our belief system.

But the Trinity is intensely practical.

Consider this...

If God the Father has chosen you (Eph.1:4-5)...

And God the Son has laid down His life for you (Jn.10:11)...

And God the Holy Spirit has renewed your heart and indwells you (Tit.3:5; 1 Cor.3:16)...

Shouldn't you have confidence that God has called you for a purpose and is with you as you fulfill that purpose?

Something to think about as you apply yourself to whatever God has called you to this week.
