We've seen this before

30 years ago I had the privilege of taking a class from one of the greatest theologians of the 20th century, Carl F. Henry.

It was a fascinating and memorable experience!

Well this week I came upon a quote from Dr. Henry I thought was pretty apropos for our time.

He wrote:

“The NT world-life view lifted the ancient world out of pagan barbarism.”

So how is this fitting for our time?

Well if the gospel brought deliverance from pagan barbarism in the past, it can do so today.

We just have to believe it and apply it to all of life.
