Here's something to consider as you start your week:
When you're focused on your mission it's easy to blaze through life and disregard those around you -- and become slow to listen, quick to speak, and quick to get angry.
This can be easy to justify too... because after all... we're on a mission!
But the Bible tells us to do just the opposite.
It says we're to 'be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger' (Jas.1:19).
In other words... we need to know how to pause and pay attention to those image-bearers around us.
Which makes sense, because the people God puts in our lives are ALWAYS part of the mission He has for us... one way or another.
And it's in slowing down and acknowledging them we're able to really do the good work He has for us... and reflect His righteousness along the way.
