Giving up and its alternative

There are two ways to deal with disappointment.

The first is to give up.

To get cynical.

And to think change for the better is impossible.

The alternative is to look up.

To recognize God is writing a different story.

And that the story isn't over yet.

Dealing with disappointment by looking up instead of giving up protects us from cynicism and renews our hope.

And by staying prayerful you're able to see the part He wants you to play in His unfolding story.
