When you read about the life of Jesus in the gospels it's obvious that prayer was essential to all He did.
He made prayer a priority.
He'd get up early to pray (Mk.1:35).
He'd get alone to pray (Mt.14:33).
He'd even slip away when He had the need to pray (Lk.5:16).
And He'd pray about all kinds of needs (Lk.6:12, Lk,22:32, Jn.17:9,20).
Well... if the sinless Son of God needed to pray to fulfill the mission His Father had for Him, how great is our own need for prayer?
But taking time to pray is hard.
Yet when we see how much we need to stay connected to our Father to live the life He has for us, prayer becomes more natural.
And it becomes the way we do life.
