Why is God slow to answer prayers?

I think I'm finally figuring it out...

When God is slow to answer prayers, it doesn't mean He's not doing anything or that nothing is happening.

It just means He's writing the story differently than we imagined... and He's taking time to draw us more unto Him and shape our character so our story would get in sync with His.

... All good things, and worth the time it takes.

And reason to keep praying and not lose heart (Lk.18:1).
