No longer damaged goods

There are a lot of people who have a hard time believing they could ever be used by God because they view themselves as damaged goods.

They see themselves as having too much bad history.

But here's the thing...

We're all damaged goods.

We've all fallen short and done things that disqualify us from having a place in God's arsenal.

Yet that's not the end of the story.

Jesus has come to reclaim us, restore us and use us for His kingdom.

If you have trouble believing that, take a few minutes to read Ephesians 2:1-10.

And notice the progression...

We were children of wrath... given new life by His mercy... and created for good works in Christ Jesus.

So... God doesn't view you as damaged goods.

And you shouldn't view yourself that way either.

Besides, He's got work for you to do!
