I don't know about you, but I like to have as much certainty in life as possible.
And before I commit myself to some course of action, I like to know -- as much as possible -- what will happen next.
The problem is, if you need certainty before doing things, you end up doing very little... because there is little certainty in life.
There are though more certainties than we often remember.
There is the certainty that God's sovereignty rules over all (Ps. 103:19)...
... and the certainty that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Rom.8:28)....
... as well as the certainty that when you commit your works to Him, He will direct your path (Pr.3:6; 16:3).
These are constants you can count on.
And when you live by these certainties, the uncertainties you do face won't scare you into inaction.
