A sad day for America

Today marks the 46th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to legalize abortion across America.

Since this ruling, over 60 million children have lost their lives at the hand of a doctor's scalpel.

There's probably nothing that shows the contrariness of American culture to God's design for humanity than this.

From the beginning God gave the command to be fruitful and multiply so those who bear his image would fill the earth and subdue it for His glory.

But with the practice of abortion, a society says to God in the most perverse fashion, "We don't care about your image, and we don't want to live according to your purpose."

And that makes today a day to mourn, to seek His mercy, and to find the courage to live out His calling.
