I see this morning in the Chicago area, where most of my family lives, they are experiencing a bone-chilling temp of 21 degrees below zero.
I can't help but wonder how well my parent's furnace is doing.
I also I can't help but think of all the ballyhoo that goes on about global morning...
... and all the time and energy that are poured into this politically driven issue.
You see... the Bible tells us there's always going to be "cold and heat and summer and winter" (Gen.8:22)...
... and to act as if there isn't is just going to lead to a lot of misguided efforts and waste of human resources.
As I see it, life is too short to get yourself snookered by an idea that's being pushed only for some group's political gain.
And there's not enough time either to spend worrying about those things -- like the weather -- that are out of your control.
It's far better methinks to use your day to apply yourself to those areas where you can make a difference...
... and make the most of the opportunities God puts in front of you to seek His kingdom and do good for others.
