Do you remember the part in Genesis where Adam names the animals?
Well there's something in the description there that's really worth noticing.
The Bible tells us specifically that God brought the animals to Adam to see what he would call them (Gen. 2:19).
Notice a couple things here...
First, God brought the animals to Adam.
Adam didn't have to chase them down and round them up. God just brought them to him.
Then notice...
God did this to see what Adam would call the animals.
In other words, God gave Adam both the authority and creative ability to name these creatures.
And He wanted to see how he would handle this.
Now there's a great principle here:
God is going to bring certain things your way today...
... and He's watching to see what you do with them.
Now what could be more stimulating as we deal with the situations we face today than that?
