Christians tend to make much of the part of the Bible that says we're to 'wait for the Lord' (Ps.27:14).
But instead of these words being an encouragement to trust God for His guidance and provision they're often used to justify inactivity and passivity.
So we end up doing nothing when it comes to the things He's been showing us He wants us to do.
The start of a new year is a good time to take a different approach and consider...
... rather than just continuing to wait on God, maybe He is waiting on us to show we believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him (Heb.11:6).
And maybe now is the time to act in faith on what He's been making clear for a long time.
