Now and then I think of writing a book called "It All Goes Back to Genesis."
In it I'd show how the majority of issues that perplex us today can be resolved by understanding and applying the first book -- if not the first few chapters -- of the Bible.
Such a work would address basic concerns like:
- where to find meaning in our relativistic age
- why our lives are filled with struggles
- and how to find hope in a world full of pain and conflict
Plus, I'd probably hit some hot-button issues like:
- racism
- transgenderism
- socialism
- and globalism
It would also would be good to have a section that discusses why politics will never save us...
... pointing to the need for a recovery of faith and personal responsibility in our generation.
Who knows if I will ever write the book.
But I at least wanted to encourage you to ponder the truth that questions regarding these issues... and so many more... have their answers in the Book of Beginnings.
It all goes back to Genesis.
