I had a dream last night.
It featured NBA superstar LeBron James.
It was kind of goofy... as dreams can be.
James and several other NBA standouts were all mowing my grass and taking care of my yard -- in their game jerseys.
It was
great!
One of the best parts is that LeBron could trim my tall hedge without needing my big ladder!!
When they were done, we all had a good time drinking lemonade and chatting.
And they told me how they liked to do lawn service in the off-season to stay in shape!
Like I said...
it was kind of goofy.
When I woke up and realized it was just a dream I felt disappointed.
But I thought about how fun it was anyway.
And it got me thinking further...
We need to have more fun dreaming dreams.
Especially
dreaming about what God might do with your marriage or family or business... or any other aspect of your life -- for Him.
The life without dreams slowly suffocates from the humdrum of the mundane.
Or as the scripture puts it, 'where there is no vision, the people perish' (Pr.29:18).
But when you take God's Word and apply it to your
circumstances with a believing heart, you're able to see things differently.
You see possibilities and are energized.
And you never know what kind of crazy big thing God might do!
At any rate, you'll have more fun.
