The opposite of fear is...

If you were to ask people what the opposite of 'fear' is most would likely say 'confidence' or 'courage.'

But the Bible comes at the question from a different angle...

It reveals the alternative to fear is 'love' when it says 'perfect love casts out fear' (1 Jn.4:18).

Remember this whenever fear is keeping you from a hard thing God is calling you to do.

Instead of trying to muster up courage, let love compel you to do what's difficult.

... That would be the love you have for God and others...

... And, of course, the love God has for you.
