Most men feel overwhelmed because they believe they have too many decisions to make.
What should I do with my career?
How do I lead my family well?
How do I handle my finances?
How do I take care of my health?
What does the future hold?
The weight of all those questions can feel
exhausting.
But what if the problem isn't the number of decisions?
What if there is one decision underneath them all?
Who will I trust?
Every decision we make flows from that one.
From the beginning, Adam faced this choice.
God had spoken, but another voice suggested God couldn't be trusted. Adam chose autonomy over obedience.
And the consequences reached far beyond that moment.
But then came Jesus—the second Adam.
He faced the same fundamental test. Would He trust the
Father?
Where Adam grasped for what wasn't his, Christ surrendered Himself for our sake.
Where Adam's distrust brought death, Christ's trust brought life.
And that same question confronts us every day.
Will I trust my own wisdom, my own desires, and my own control?
Or will I trust the God who created me and knows what is best?
The most important decision you make won't be about your schedule, your work, or your finances.
It will be deciding whose voice you will follow.
Because every other decision is evidence of that one.
