You're not who you were
There's a time in every man’s life when he has to decide which voice he
will believe:
The voice of his past or the voice of Christ.
Most men live trapped inside an old identity—shaped by mistakes, wounds, and labels they carry.
Their history haunts them.
But the gospel of Jesus Christ interrupts that story and declares something new.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
This means your story isn't over.
You are not your past.
In Christ, you are forgiven, cleansed, and brought into a new covenant relationship with God as a son.
Sin is no longer your master.
It still speaks, but it no longer rules.
Because you are positioned to live out of a new
identity.
This is where transformation begins:
That place where a man agrees with what God says about him.
So walk in the new identity Christ has given you through faith.
Today is a good day to stop living from the past and start living as a new creation.
Take a step forward in faith.
In Christ, you are already new. Now live like it.
Freedom begins here.
Walk as a son of God.
"If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things
have come" (2 Cor. 5:17).
