The Clarity to Move Forward
I talk with many men who want to make changes in their lives...
To head in a new direction they believe would be faithful and fit them well.
The problem is, they often lack the clarity they need to move forward.
So they stay stuck in familiar patterns, unsure what to do next.
And unfortunately, men can remain there for years.
The good news is Scripture gives us a path forward—one that brings structure to how we think about our lives and the responsibilities God has given us.
At Made for Dominion, we often focus on three areas.
1. Identity and Purpose
Everything begins here.
A man must
rediscover who God made him to be and what God has called him to do.
When identity becomes clear, life stops feeling random and begins to find direction.
2. Covenant Living
Clarity grows when a man renews his covenant with God and resolves to live faithfully before Him.
This means
orienting your life around obedience, prayer, and trust in God’s Word rather than yielding to the pressures of the moment.
3. Domain Management
Finally, a man begins to reclaim responsibility for what God has entrusted to him.
This includes his:
- Spiritual development
- Marriage and family
- Vocation and work
- Resources and relationships
- Church and community
Scripture describes this calling as cultivating and keeping what God has placed in your
care.
When a man begins living this way, the fog clears.
Confusion gives way to clarity.
And the life God designed for him begins to take shape.
To help men personalize this, I'm leading a workshop this Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m.
In this workshop, we’ll walk through these three areas and help you apply them to your own life.
If you're in the Lakeland area and interested in attending, reply to this email and I'll send you the
details.
I have no doubt the men who come will leave with greater clarity about the direction of their lives.
