Clearing Mental Clutter
Many men today struggle under cognitive overload.
There’s so much to track—emails, news, changes, responsibilities—and the list keeps growing.
It can seem impossible to keep up, and the result is often paralysis.
But here’s the truth:
God didn’t make us to survive or be useful by keeping up with every piece of information.
He made us to trust and obey Him.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
You may not have an entire plan laid out.
That’s okay.
You don’t need A-Z mapped out.
You just need a sense of A-B, take it in faith, and trust God to guide you.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans” (Proverbs
16:3).
If you’re unsure about the next step:
– Ask yourself: What does faithfulness require?
– Seek God’s wisdom.
– Consider the godly desires He has been placing on your heart.
Don’t get stuck in endless research, over-planning, or waiting.
Faithfulness to God’s call can’t stay in your head...
… it needs to be worked
out through your hands and feet.
Take the next right step.
Move forward.
God’s Word lights the path:
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
Start small. Move in faith. He will order your steps.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you” (Psalm 32:8).
