What Makes Made for Dominion Different
People sometimes wonder how Made for Dominion is different than other efforts to help men.
Here’s my answer.
Many men’s ministries rightly focus on helping men grow in their devotional life, strengthen their faith, and find encouragement through fellowship.
All these things matter.
But Made for Dominion takes it a step further.
We’re aiming to help men see that following Jesus is not limited to a quiet time, a Bible study, or church events.
The Lordship of Christ extends into every domain of life.
A man’s character.
His family.
His work.
His church.
His
community.
His mission.
Most masculinity content in the world today focuses on self-optimization.
Productivity.
Discipline.
Ambition.
Fitness.
Financial success.
Status.
“Winning.”
These things have their place, but they
often leave the same assumption untouched: that the autonomous self is the center of the story.
But God has something greater in mind for men.
He gives them an
identity, calling, and purpose in His story.
A man’s life is not self-owned.
It’s a stewardship.
The question is not
merely:
“How do I get my life together?”
It’s:
“Am I faithfully cultivating what God has entrusted to me under the Lordship of Jesus Christ?”
This changes how a man understands responsibility.
It becomes a way of approaching life with God.
Bringing order, fruitfulness, and blessing into every domain of life.
That’s the vision behind
Made for Dominion.
Helping men faithfully take their place in His story.
And I’m grateful you’re here discovering your own part.
